That wonderful warm spell we had a couple of weeks ago brought people out and about and thinking about summer, planning ahead for changes in their home and garden and particularly kitchen design. Brexit Boredom ensues but judging by the amount of local planning applications, people aren’t waiting around and there are lots of kitchens out there waiting to be designed and fitted around Herts and Essex!
Here at Kemphaus we are loving the variety of ideas that people are bringing in and enjoy adapting them to realise their dream kitchen which will stand the test of time.
From a Suffolk barn conversion to a 9,000 sq ft new build in Hertfordshire, our designer Rob Kemp at Kemphaus Kitchens has been busy beavering away on all styles of kitchen, in between site visits and measures.
Over the last month we have fitted 5 kitchens with lots of exciting projects to work on over the coming months. In the Suffolk barn conversion below, we used our ever popular matt anthracite door, with anti-fingerprint coating plus our new UNIQ white slate door on the island. Appliances include a Quooker Fusion Square hot tap in brushed chrome and the new Gutmann Fonda downdraft hob, which we covered in last week’s blog. Latest appliances trends for your kitchen design – Black is Back

Did you know Quooker are now doing a matt black tap? Stunning when used in a monochrome design for that trendy New York loft feel.
Also, this May they are launching the Cube which will have chilled filtered water (currently only non-chilled filtered available) plus sparkling water on tap!

Imagine, all your needs met in one stylish tap! Come down to Kemphaus soon, where we are in the process of installing a matt black Quooker with the Cube to follow in May.
Also this month, we have installed a kitchen for a lovely family in Upminster, Essex who plumped for gloss white units with gloss anthracite on the peninsula. For a touch of glamour, they chose Silestone’s Eternal Calacutta Gold in Polished with added N-Boost for protection against stains, enhanced shine and intensified colour. Appliances included a Quooker hot tap and the popular NEFF hide and slide oven with matching combination/microwave.
