Kitchen design trends for spring 2021

Spring is a time for fresh starts and clean slates, so it’s no surprise that many people are choosing to start working on their new kitchens this spring. And after the year of lockdowns we’ve all just had, our kitchens are where we’re noticing the most wear and tear from being at home so much. A new kitchen design is just what we need!

Whether you’re finally committing to starting your dream kitchen, or you’re simply looking for some fresh inspiration, check out these latest designs we’ve been working on this week. From space-saving features and unique design details to large entertaining spaces, every week is different for us at Kemphaus Kitchens. Here you’ll find modern kitchen designs to suit every taste!

Kitchen Design 1

A modern kitchen with an island, the 11 degree angled unit adds a unique feature to this stylish kitchen. The doors are dark concrete and silky grey with a Dekton Laurent worktop, plus a gin bar with square crittall style doors and a floating unit in dark concrete – perfect for entertaining!

Another kitchen design with an island, this customer chose to have their sink integrated into the island with the addition of a champagne trough. This provides easy access when having a party at home! There’s also a fridge, freezer and pantry all hidden behind the tall doors lining the wall on the left. Accents of brass handles and a brass floating shelf add some personality.

Here’s a different way to use your kitchen island. Install a BORA downdraft hob and make it your central cooking station. This Shaker-style kitchen has carbon grey doors with a white veined quartz worktop.

Wow! With loads of space and the contrast between the exposed brickwork and beams with the modern kitchen design makes for a striking kitchen setting. This kitchen with an island and breakfast bar makes it the ideal space for entertaining and socialising in this fantastic barn conversion. The island features an 11 degree angled unit for a unique visual impact, while the breakfast bar doubles up as a stylish champagne bar. The customer wanted to have a ‘before 12 o’clock’ and an ‘after 12 o’clock’ zone, with a dedicated coffee station at one end and a fully stocked bar at the other end.

We also create kitchen designs for flats, like this design for a Cambridge-based developer’s project of seven luxury flats. It’s a seamless design with handleless doors and muted tones to suit a range of potential buyers.

Here we created a kitchen design to maximise space for this small kitchen. There’s room for two people to sit opposite each other at the breakfast bar, with the customer’s own existing fridge-freezer integrated into the sunken tall units.

We offer all our customers a free consultation and initial design to kickstart their journey to creating their dream kitchen.
